I read all the evaluations prior to I attempted this item. I am rather concerned and picky shopper. I believed I would give this a try. I believe the essential to this product is the flooring you are using this on. The foot on the lock functions superb on title or wood. I would not suggest this item on carpet.
1 essential point to bear in mind...the farther away you have the base from the door the much less strength it has. Attempt to get it among 70 degrees and 80 degrees. I was in a position to knock it out of place at 50 and 60. I commonly do not worry about safety yet, I am a heavy sleeper. I can fend for myself but I have to hear it initial.
