I like the ease of set up, the video high quality nevertheless it does not function regularly and I locate this frustrating. I can not make sense of when it functions and when it does not. I do not know if it really is considering that my home's wiring is older or if the product is faulty. When it is working - it is terrific. A further point to be conscious of is that it's very tedious to get rid of video footage that you no longer want. Each and every tiny segment has to be deleted one particular piece at a time. I have not found a way to delete large chunks of time such as deleting 1 day.
When I 1st got the method and installed it, I was excited. Installation was hassle-free. It started proper up. It was sending me e-mail alerts. I could access my cameras from the world-wide-web. How cool was that
But now three months later the bloom is off the rose, and I am ready to scrape it or send it back. It is just too unreliable. I have my process at a location that I only check out when a week. I would estimate that less than 25% of the time does it make through an entire week with all three primary functions (local recording, e mail alerts, world wide web viewing) all operating, all week. And it is not just one point. It is multiples. Logitec's assist program at all times has suggestions but reliability by no means improves and the same challenges continue to repeat.
So unless you can physically access the system each day and/or are ok with components of the program going down for periods of time, I would stay away from this product.
Superb idea. Flawed execution.
